WWE Confirms Signing Of Too Cold Scorpio
It had been reported on numerous wrestling sites, but now WWE has finally confirmed the fact that they have re-hired former WWE, WCW and ECW wrestler Too Cold Scorpio (who worked in WWE as both Scorpio and Flash Funk).

While reported by PWInsider.Com that Scorpio (real name Charles Scaggs) has signed a 3-year deal, this has not been confirmed on WWE.Com.

At the moment, it is uncertain as to where exactly Scorpio will end up in the WWE. He could be going to either RAW or SmackDown!, but could also very well end up as a legitimate boost to the ECW brand, where Scorpio was a big player back in the day.

"Too Cold for WWE
By Craig Tello

On Thursday, World Wrestling Entertainment officials hired ring veteran Charles Scaggs better known as Too Cold Scorpio or Flash Funk in his WWE days in the late 1990s.

A former ECW Television Champion and ECW and WCW Tag Team Champion, an elated Scaggs spoke with WWE.com and offered his personal thoughts on his return.

“I’m really excited to be back in WWE,” Scaggs said. “I’ve had the opportunity to be all around the world and I’ve learned that if you’re going to be with the best, you may as well compete with the best, and the best is WWE.”

According to Scaggs, he has spent the last seven years in Japan where he competed in the ring with some of the most decorated and feared Japanese stars. Before commencing negotiations with WWE officials, Scaggs earned multiple championships overseas. Scaggs told WWE.com that he looks forward to once again compete in front of the WWE fans whether it be on RAW, SmackDown or even ECW.

“It doesn’t matter which brand I sign out with,” he declared, “I will be the new person to reckon with. I’m planning on coming back in shape, I’m planning on moving right to the top and, hopefully, trying to take it to another level.”

The risk-taking, high-flying Scaggs is anxious to step between the ropes of a WWE ring, and he assured that when the time is right, he will put the WWE on ice.

“You can expect to see all that you’ve seen before and then some,” he added. “When I come back, I’m going to show the WWE fans that I am too cold.”"
