In 2001, Sid Vicious broke his leg in a match at the WCW Sin pay per view. He broke it in a freak accident when jumping off the second turnbuckle.
Full SmackDown! Roster Confirmed By IGN + More
IGN have confirmed the final roster (minus Legends) for WWE SmackDown! Vs. RAW 2006, and as a special treat they have confirmed 19 arenas that are going to be in the game as well.
WWE SmackDown! Vs. RAW 2006 Roster:
Rob Van Dam
Scotty 2 Hotty
There you have it, folks. 50 superstars, Diva's included. True, a lot of folks like Charlie Haas and Spike Dudley are no longer with the company, but it's still one of the best rosters I've seen in a long time. Legends will of course be added to that list, making it 60+ all in all. It's rumored that there will be 10 brand new Legends this year, plus a few who will be returning from past games.
As a special bonus, IGN have also been reporting on 19 of the arenas that will be in the game (with a 20th, as of yet unconfirmed arena, rumored to be joining them), and there are some great arenas in this one.
WWE SmackDown! Vs. RAW 2006 Arenas:
No Way Out
The Great American Bash
New Year's Revolution
ECW One Night Stand
Wow! A lot of cool ones in that list, that's for sure, but the inclusion of the ECW One Night Stand arena (Hammerstein Ballroom, here I come!) has got to be the best decision they've ever done. I can't wait to have some serious ECW-styled brawls in that arena. Hopefully you will be able to pull off stuff like moonsaults off the balconies, like Super Crazy did at the aforementioned show. It's just too bad the Mexicools couldn't make the game.
