WWE SmackDown! Vs. RAW 2 Not To Be Shown At E3
IGN have reported that THQ will NOT be showing off the upcoming Playstation 2 wrestler WWE SmackDown! Vs. RAW 2 at this years Electronic Entertainment Expo, which will take place in Los Angeles in just two weeks time.

Instead, it seems as if THQ have opted to reveal the game, and hopefully some of this years newest additions to the gaming series as well, sometime following the E3 event.

News courtesy of IGN.Com:

"In a conversation with IGN today, THQ representatives confirmed that its upcoming wrestler WWE SmackDown! vs. RAW 2 would not be shown at the 2005 Electronic Entertainment Expo two weeks from now in Los Angeles. Just as was the case last year, the Calabasas-based publisher doesn't want to reveal its most popular game until after the big event -- it makes more of an impact that way.

But just because the game won't be in there doesn't mean that we won't hear about it. After all, THQ surprised E3 attendees in 2004 with the tease of the SmackDown! vs. RAW logo as a subtle build up to its post-E3 unveil. Whether or not that same situation will present itself this year is still unknown, but at the time of this writing no official plans regarding the game at E3 are planned at all.

That said, check back with us again next month for the information that PS2 wrestling fans have been waiting for. And as always, we'll have it here on IGN first."
