Latest News On WWE DVD's To Be Released In 2005-2006, Brief Schedule Inside
PWInsider.Com have posted the current schedule for upcoming WWE DVD's. Most of the aforementioned DVD's will most likely be released in 2005, but there are a few who are currently slated to be released in 2006 as well.

Also bear in mind that the European release date for these DVD will most likely be approximately a month later.

News courtesy of PWInsider.Com:

"The current scheduled for future WWE DVD releases over the next year are:

June 2005: Judgement Day ,WWE Legends Volume 1, Road Warriors (2 DVD set)

July 2005: ECW One Night Stand (currently, the PPV will be packaged with The Rise & Fall of ECW and a slipcase, not released on its own)

August 2005: The Great American Bash, Vengeance 2005 , and "From the Vault" Undertaker (2 DVD set)

September 2005: Summerslam, Ultimate Warrior (2 DVD set)

October 2005: Unforgiven

November 2005: WWE Legends Volume 2, No Mercy

December 2005: Taboo Tuesday II, Survivor Series 2005

Jan 2006: Armaggedon 2005

Feb 2006: New Years Revolution 2006, ECW's Greatest Matches (2 DVD set), Royal Rumble 2006

March 2006: No Way Out and a to be named Divas release

No Official Release beyond late 2005: "Screwed"! The Bret Hart Story (2 DVD set)"

So, it looks as if the Road Warriors and WWE Legends DVD's will be the first to be released, closely followed by a very intriguing Undertaker: From The Vault DVD in August and a second WWE Legends offering in November.

ECW's Greatest Matches is scheduled for a release in February of 2006 (talk about a long, hard wait), and the Bret Hart DVD looks to be released around the same time period.

Another strange tidbit is this release schedule, is that the ECW One Night Stand pay per view will only (as it stands) be released as a double pack along with the Rise + Fall Of ECW DVD. Maybe WWE aren't trusting enough that the disc will sell good enough on its own?

More on this as we get it.
