When Hulk Hogan first came to the WWE, he was actually a heel (bad guy). One of his first opponents was a popular, and babyface, Andre The Giant.

Barbed Wire Cage Match Set For Future WWE Pay Per View?
There has been rumors that Paul Heyman had suggested a barbed wire-type match for the WWE February pay per view of No Way Out for quite a while now, and rumors are continuing to buzz.

Apparently, according to some early promotional material for the event, a barbed wire steel cage match will be held at the event. Still, as with pretty much any plan made by WWE, this could change at the flick of a switch. Unless you hear something about this on WWE television, do not take this as a certainty.

News courtesy of PWInsider.Com:

"Promotional material for WWE's No Way Out PPV in February is advertising that the promotion's first ever barbed wire cage match will take place on the show.

The blurb reads as follows:

Conflict has a new battleground in the first ever barbed wire steel cage match. There's no place to run. There's no way out. SmackDown presents WWE’s No Way Out, Sunday, February 20th, live at 8pmET/5pmPT on Events iN DEMAND pay-per-view.

WWE have never had a match of this type before. The closest the company has come before would be Mick Foley using a barbed wire bat. Foley and Terry Funk wanted to do a no ropes exploding barbed wire match for WrestleMania 14, but the idea was dropped when WWE got Mike Tyson for the show."
