Sabu Hospitalized For Serious Health Issues + News On Donations & Benefit Show
Sabu is currently hospitalized for what appears to be a lengthy period of time, and has apparently many healthy issues to deal with. A benefit show has been set up by what appears to be mostly NWA-TNA talent, and tickets will be available for purchase to this show on November the 28th. More news on this below (courtesy of PWInsider.Com).

You can also donate money to Sabu, which will no doubt benefit greatly from any contribution. News on how to donate money can also be found below.

A number of independent promotions are donating merchandise for the show to help raise funds as well. Sabu, who was credited with putting Extreme Championship Wrestling on the map on WWE's Rise and Fall of ECW DVD, was recently released from the hospital after a 50 day stay due to a myriad of health problems.

A benefit fund has also been set up for those wishing to donate to Sabu but are unable to attend the event. A donation may be made via Paypal.com to Gmakpoulos@aol.com or a check or money order may be made out and sent to:

Georgiann Makropoulos
23-44 30th Drive
Astoria, NY 11102-3252
Be sure to mark the donation - SABU FUND in the memo.

If anyone wishes to get more information about the event or to donate items for the show, email SabuShow@hotmail.com. The organizers of the show wish to make it clear that while we deeply appreciate the outpouring of independent performers willing to donate their time to perform on the show, the card has been booked, and we hope everyone will donate their efforts to help Sabu in other ways."
