TNA Victory Road

William Regal was fired from WCW in 1998 for no-selling to Goldberg in a match. He was trying to point out Goldberg's limited wrestling skills, but WCW management would have none of it and fired him on the spot.

Randy Savage Not Returning To NWA-TNA
Randy Savage made an appearance with NWA-TNA on their Victory Road pay per view, but will apparently not be making more appearances with them.

Savage apparently called NWA-TNA management and basically told them that he wouldn't be returning because of an "unsafe working environment". The reason behind this is that Savage met with Hulk Hogan backstage at Victory Road, and things apparently didn't go as Savage wished for.

News courtesy of PWInsider.Com:

"After debuting at the Victory Road PPV, Randy Savage called up TNA officials this afternoon and pulled out of all future appearances.

According to one source who was backstage at tonight's Impact! taping, Savage claimed to TNA officials that the company had an "unsafe working environment", stemming from his backstage run-in with Hulk Hogan at the PPV Sunday night.

According to the source, when Savage blew off Hogan backstage during their brief conversation at Victory Road, Hogan then offered to step outside with Savage and settle their differences, just as Savage had challenged him to do publicly on several occasions. Hogan then offered for their issues to be left in the past. Savage ignored the comments and walked away.

Savage, who made a cameo appearance at the end of Victory Road, had been scheduled to appear at tonight's Impact! taping. The Turning Point PPV was originally scheduled to feature Randy Savage & Monty Brown & AJ Styles vs. Jeff Jarrett & The Outsiders in the main event on 12/5, but with Savage bolting, that is out the window."
