WWE To Produce Two Pay Per Views In June?
|
The story goes that WWE will be having two separate pay per views in June. One will be RAW's own Bad Blood, while the other as of yet unnamed pay per view will be a SmackDown! exclusive one.
News courtesy of ProWrestling.Com:
"WWE has tentatively scheduled two PPVs for June in what could be their first real effort to expand to 14 PPVs per year. The first one, which will be the RAW brand Badd Blood from Louisville, Kentucky on 6/13, while the second one will be a Smackdown! exclusive show two weeks later on 6/27 in Norfolk, Virginia."
One will have to wait and see whether or not this actually comes together, and whether or not it will be a one year deal or if this trend will continue next year as well.
Update!
It seems that WWE will also be producing two pay per views in the month of October, one for each brand. Oddly enough, it seems that the RAW pay per view will be taking place on a Tuesday. That's got to be a first for WWE, since their pay per views regulary take place on Sundays.
