IGN Confirms Full Legends Roster For WWE SmackDown! Vs. RAW 2007 + Wrestler Added To Regular Roster
IGN has confirmed the full Legends roster for the upcoming WWE SmackDown! Vs. RAW 2007 game, slated for a November release for the Playstation 2 as well as the Xbox 360.

The 16-wrestler strong Legends roster features a nice blend of modern and classic grapplers, and as if that wasn't enough, IGN also confirm that Mick Foley himself has been added to the "regular" game roster. Foley was originally supposed to be part of the Legends roster as well, but it was decided that he'd be a better part of the regular roster.

The confirmed Legends roster is as follows:
  • Bam Bam Bigelow
  • Bret Hart
  • Cactus Jack
  • Dude Love
  • Dusty Rhodes
  • Eddie Guerrero
  • Hulk Hogan
  • Jerry Lawler
  • Jim Neidhart
  • Mankind
  • Mr. Perfect
  • The Rock
  • Roddy Piper
  • Shane McMahon
  • Steve Austin
  • Tazz
This means that no less than 4 Foley personas will be in the game, so Foley fans should be pleased indeed. Returning from the last game are Bret Hart, Hulk Hogan, Mankind, The Rock and Steve Austin.

Characters that have been in past games are Eddie Guerrero (although this is the first time Guerrero has been a Legend since his untimely passing) and Roddy Piper.

Two announcers will also be playable this year, and both Jerry Lawler and Tazz have been heavily requested by the fans to be playable.

Shane McMahon
returns as a playable character, this time as a Legend, after being "inactive" in the SmackDown! series for quite a while now. Strangely, Vince McMahon appears to be nowhere in sight.

Completely new to the series are Bam Bam Bigelow, Dusty Rhodes, Jim Neidhart (Bret Hart's former tag team partner) and Mr. Perfect (easily one of the most requested Legends, that finally gets in the game).

Personally, I think this is the best Legends roster of any SmackDown! game, hands down.
