NOAH: New Challenges *SPOILER*
There has been a major upshake in NOAH's tag team division recently.

At the main event in Kobe World Hall, the team of Doug Williams and Scorpio (formerly known as 2 Cold Scorpio in the US) defeated Mitsuharu Misawa and Yoshinari Ogawa to become the 9th GHC Tag Team Champions. Scorpio used the 450 splash on Ogawa after 29:32 to win. Scorpio has previously been one half of the champions together with Vader, so this is his second reign. This is probably the biggest title so far for Williams, who is a highly skilled technical wrestler from the UK. They actually came to end a 12 month long title reign!

The current GHC Heavyweight Champion Kobashi said that he wanted to reunite with his fellow BURNING member Tamon Honda. There will probably be a title match with Kobashi and Honda as the challengers. If Williams & Scorpio can overcome THAT team... then they would without doubt be the biggest gaijins in the promotion right now.

Jun Akiyama said that he wanted to face the team of Genichiro Tenryu & Minoru Suzuki at the upcoming show in Tokyo Nippon Budokan. He doesn't have a partner for this match yet, but made a public offer for any NOAH wrestler to join him. Who could that end up being? I would bet my money on either Morishima or Rikio. Tenryu & Suzuki are under contract with NJPW, so there is no doubt who the NOAH fans will cheer for.
