Latest News On Possible WWE Return Of Steve Austin
Steve Austin and Vince McMahon apparently met a couple of weeks back to discuss a WWE return for Austin, and according to sources the meeting went smooth.

It is also believed that if Austin were to sign with the WWE again, that he would work a limited role, much like Mick Foley and The Rock. Also, there's no set date for any return as nothing has been confirmed yet.

More on this as we get it, of course.

News courtesy of ProWrestling.Com:

"Blackjack Brown of the Chicago Sun Times this week wrote about the possible return of Steve Austin to the WWE. Austin and Vince McMahon met backstage at Raw a few weeks ago and apparently things went smoothly between the two. According to Brown, the WWE would like to have Austin work a schedule similar to that of Mick Foley and/or The Rock, which would allow him to come in for a few shows and appear as the "enforcer" at a Pay Per View or at least in some similar capacity.

One of the many reasons that lead to Austin's leaving in the first place, was that the WWE was having problems coming up with storylines for Austin in the role as "sherrif" and "co-general manager". There was rumors that Austin wanted or might appear in the ring again for one last match, but those rumors of course have never gone any further than that.

There is no timetable or deal in place between the two parties at this time, but it appears from all indications that Austin will return to the WWE in the future in some role."
