The first time Triple H used his trusted sledgehammer was back in 1999, when he interrupted a Casket match between The Rock and Undertaker. The hammer was used on the casket, with The Rock inside it.

John Layfield Not Popular With Fellow SmackDown! Wrestlers?
It is said that John 'Bradshaw' Layfield is not very popular with his fellow SmackDown! wrestlers. While a lot of them were at first impressed with his work ethic, it now seems that the feel his "superstar shine" is fading.

A lot have apparently changed their previous acceptance of the WWE Champion into more of a "he doesn't deserve his push" kind of attitude.

News courtesy of ProWrestling.Com:

"John Bradshaw Layfield was said to have won over many of his fellow wrestlers backstage due to his good work ethic, but it now seems things have changed, and those in the WWE locker room are turning on JBL once again.

Many wrestlers feel that JBL is undeserving of his current top spot and feel that his drawing power is waning. Part of the blame is being levied on Bruce Prichard, the man that lobbied for JBL's push in the first place. The consensus right now is that JBL would not be in the position he is in if it weren't for Prichard's lobbying tactics.

JBL's association with one of the most hated men backstage in WWE is not doing his popularity any favors either."
